Company Overview 

JULIA STROUK LLC is a fashion company founded in 2022 by Julia Strouk in Los Angeles, California. Located in one of Los Angeles’ historic fashion buildings in Downtown, the Cooper Building, the company operates as an online retailer and fashion showroom to represent contemporary women clothing brands created by French designers from Paris, France. The showroom is currently representing two Parisian brands, GARCE PARIS and OSE PARIS, along with the founder’s own clothing line, JULIA STROUK DESIGN. 

Mission & Values

As the founder, Julia, was born and raised in Paris herself, she decided to open this showroom with the mission of bringing Parisian elegance and simplicity to Los Angeles’ fashion world.

Julia specifically created and selected brands that represent strong and independent women by providing timeless, bold and essential pieces of clothing that allow us to feel powerful and beautiful. 

Julia also always knew she wanted to create a business that would have a positive impact on the world. As Julia has always had a strong interest in fashion, she decided to start JULIA STROUK DESIGN & CO’s fashion showroom to provide sustainable fashion, as well as discover and support other young female entrepreneurs by representing their brands in her fashion showroom. Additionally, all brands represented have ethical manufacturing processes, using fabrics and means of production that are eco-friendly and support a workplace where laborers receive a livable wage. 

Location

The Cooper Building (@cooperdesignspace) is known to host the “LA Market Week” at least 5 times a year. According to the LA Fashion Disctrict website, “the LA Market Week, previously known as LA Fashion Market, is the West Coast's premier destination for contemporary fashions, including apparel, accessories, and footwear. The market hosts various tradeshows that highlight both established and up-and-coming designers. With thousands of brands participating in the LA Market Week, this is the place for buyers to discover new brands and create new shopping experiences.  LA Market Week takes place at the various contemporary showrooms in the district.”
